Built by a visionary architect in 1925, Portmeirion Village & Castell Deudraeth overlooks the beautiful Dywryd Estaury. Amazing location, great village room over looking the main square, we stayed in Salutation 1 which had a full sized fridge and a sink in the room. Vey comfy bed, good facilities and great complimentary toiletries...... L'Occitaine no less.....Staff were helpful and very attentive. A surprise was the complimentary shuttle bus service from your room to Castell Deudreath if your meals were booked there. Food was great in the Castell, even a dedicated Vegan Menu and wine list which was lovely to find. Cannot wait to go again

Näkymät hyvät, hyvä sänky ja tyyny. Aamiainen oli myös maukas. Syy miksi en antanut täysiä pisteitä oli, että olimme luottaneet siihen, että saamme ladattua vuokratun sähköauton hotellin parkkipaikalla, mutta Teslan laturit eivät toimineet. Ne ovat kuulemma temppuilleet jo pitkään, joten siitä olisi ollut hyvä tietää etukäteen. Vinkki sähköauton vuokranneelle: Lidlin (Llandudno Junction) parkkipaikalla on nopea laturi joka toimii hyvin.

Originally built in 1840, Spilman Hotel is a family-run hotel that offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking, right in the heart of the market town of Carmarthen. This is a very comfortable hotel near the town centre. The owner and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. For all you coeliacs the breakfast is large and gluten free even the sausages. The owner even bought a new toaster so my wife could have toast. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only downside is the entrance which is narrow but with a wide turn isn't a major problem.

Sue and Lois on reception and Dan who was multitasking. Customer service and friendliness was outstanding. So many places are lacking in this area however The Dunes have cracked it. Real team work was shown.

Dolgellau (lausutaan: Dol-get-li) on Walesin ja koko Britanniankin mittakaavassa aivan poikkeuksellinen historiallinen kaupunki, arkkitehtuuriltaan ja olemukseltaan. Vaikka suuri osa yhtenäisestä rakennuskannasta vanhassa kaupungissa on suojelukohteita, niin kaupunki on silti eläväinen. Nähtävää riittää - ja on siellä viininmaistelubaarikin modernia Walesia hakeville. Vanhan kaupungin ulkopuolella on toinenkin erinomainen B & B- paikka (Tan-y-Gaderin lisäksi). Dolgun Ushaf on historiallinen maatalo, josta kveekarien lahko lähti maailmalle. Autolla liikkuvat pääsevät vajaassa puolessa tunnissa pariinkin walesilaisten parhaimmista ja rakkaimmista rantalomapaikoista. Ja patikkapolkuja riittää.

Walesin rannikon kaunein kaupunki! Ajettiin Lontoosta, joten vertailukohtia on... Oikea peri brittien lomakohde. Kuin elokuvista. Henkeä salpaavan upeat maisemat merelle KORKEILTA rantavalleilta. Hyviä ruokapaikkoja. Tänne tullaan toistekin. Meille suositeltiin Tenbyä ja kyllä kannatti ajaa tänne asti.
